Tyrrell Winston’s Reebok Question Mid And Club C Release On May 6th

Based in and inspired by New York, Tyrrell Winston often roams the city streets, picking up its trash to create collages of deflated basketballs, torn netting, and cigarette buds. And in 2019, the artist caught the eye of beloved streetwear label UNDEFEATED, who featured his work across an LA billboard. Reebok, too, has taken a liking to Winston’s style, so much in fact that they’ve offered him his very own collaboration made up of the Question Mid and Club C.

Unlike the pieces seen at Winston’s recent exhibitions, the footwear repurposes not much more than a prior work, “The Smell of Money,” which replaces Reebok branding at two spots: the left tongue of the Club C and the lower-right heel of the Question Mid. Elsewhere, the shoes deliver simple, straightforward colorways, dressing up in white on cream and white on black, respectively. And though distinct in this regard, both proffer faux fur heel tabs and the artist’s signature along the outsole.

For a closer look at this upcoming capsule, see below. According to Winston himself, pairs are set to release on Reebok.com and at select retailers on May 6th. Certain EU shops, however, are reporting a May 1st launch, though it’s possible they’ve yet to update from a placeholder date.
